Tonkas used to be awesome. Practically indestructible. Then they started making the plastic ones…..ugh. These do have some plastic but it is mostly steel. nice. back to being almost indestructible.

Just got this for my son 2 days ago. Though this is supposely for kids ages 3+, my son is almost 2 years old and he loves it just the same. This is a big toy, perfect for boys. I can’t say enough good things about it. Durable, realistic and fun. I try to play with it when no one is looking.

Classic Tonka truck! My young boys have thoroughly enjoyed this toy and it has taken me back to my childhood a couple of times as well. Sturdy, well built with minimal plastic, hence it’s a heavier truck than most.

My grandson loves playing with his Tonka backhoe. He is learning eye-hand coordination and problem-solving every time he creates a “project” for his new toy. He has learned how to pick up objects with the scoop and what to do when his first plan doesn’t work. The toy is sturdily built and we expect it to last for years.

This is a great, classic Tonka truck.
Metal construction.
Takes a beating. My boys have had theirs for several years.
It now lives in a wooden storage box in the playground area near the sandbox and still is dragged out periodically. It is a magnet for the 3-4 year old set and still is fun for boys a little older. It is HUGE.
